That said, if you buy the new version, you get whopping savings if you act soon! Especially the PRO version should be very affordable for nearly anyone. Is the program really worth it? Extremely. The program is already considerably cheap, especially the PRO version which has great functionality for its price. EXtended version has even more amazing features that makes page managing much more feasible and adds other useful and powerful options as well. And the best thing is that once you buy the license, it's yours forever (though upgrading to next version may require new license). I suggest trying the trial version first. What is it like? It's very similar to Paint Tool SAI, just far more powerful. That said, the user interface is very intuitive and the overall experience is close to SAI. It's functions are very customizable. You can tweak nearly everything, such as hide tool options that you don't need, making the UI less cluttered and set how shortcuts affect each tool. Of course it's not quite as lightweight as SAI, so you will need a bit better hardware to run it. Despite being easy to use, getting familiar with all the functions will take some time. My experiences with Clip Studio PAINT I have very little bad to say about this program. I have already drawn one full page with it for one manga commission I'm working and I'm very happy with the program's functionality when it comes to panel layouts, margins, perspective rulers, speech bubbles, screentoning etc. The lines don't feel quite as responsive as in Paint Tool SAI though. There are tons of features which I haven't tried yet and I'm still in the middle of customizing the workspace and shortcuts for my needs. I'm still more into using SAI since I'm not used with all the features on CSP yet, but I'm planning to migrate to it very soon. I had bought the PRO version, and now I upgraded to the EX version (note that you get best savings if you didn't have CSP before). What are you waiting for, go for it!
